This is the first time I have been asked this actually. I have been asked how I can write with someone, or how I ever find time with everything I have going on.
The answer is: with a miracle.
I write a lot when the kids are in bed. It really doesn't effect my parenting. My kids are the number one focus in my life, so for me it isn't so hard to balance, As I said I save a lot of my writing for when they are asleep, Or I plan on writing on days when I have off of work and the kids are in school. I wish that I could always get away with this, but unfortunately sometimes I have to write when they are home, like a lot of other moms, and with the summer months it can be very hard. Like this blog right now, everyone is awake in my house. My boys are reading to one another and my daughter is reading to me, as I sit here writing. I make sure I stop to talk about the book she is reading to me. I pause in my writing to listen to the boys and interact with them. This is how I balance it. I make the effort to be a mom first. Unfortunately while balancing all of this out I burnt breakfast! LOL

I don't know that I do all the time. There are some days I feel like I'm being pulled in different directions. I have my kids commitments to take care of and I also work online still in the freelance market. Sometimes, I find that trying to do both at the same time is just not working. This is when I usually take a little time and just try to figure out what I need to do right now. Sometimes I don't write for a week and other times I'm able to write a night when the kids go to sleep. When you're working a lot, it really is hard to find the time to write and then when you add a family into it, it makes it 10 times harder. I guess if you really want to write something, you will make time. I know that sometimes my kids have gone with just eating sandwiches for supper because I'm so into a story. They usually complain a little bit but understand that this is what I want to do with my life.

The world has changed, we have changed. The world we once knew has fallen away and left us in a wasteland of Magick. Powerful witches and underworld gods control our lives. The past comes back in ways we are not prepared for. The Gatekeepers are our only hope. The question is if we can get to them first.
Stevie Trinity
Stevie lives in Wyoming with her family. She loves the wide open space There is nothing better than sitting out on the prairie looking out at the stars, or driving less than an hour to the Mountains and climbing trees, and yes she still climbs trees! :)
Stevie started to write short stories when she was 12. She loves poetry and started to write poems when she was 13. She then stopped writing in her early 20s, due to raising a family and focusing her attention elsewhere. When she was 30 she started to write again.
A couple of years later the Gatekeeper series emerged. She and her co author spent many hours talking about and discussing the world they created. Stacey really encouraged Stevie to write again.
Currently Stevie is working on a historical romance about the old west in a time of amazing change! She is also working on the second book to the Gatekeeper Series.
